This 5k will take runners on a loop through the streets and trails in and around the Borough of Mount Carmel. Starting and finishing at the Mount Carmel Area Jr/Sr High School, the course will feature a variety of different landscapes and sites that are unique to the Community.” Also, kids can participate in a fun walk around the school.
Food trucks will be available. The run benefits the new Mount Carmel Area Community Center. The Mount Carmel Area Community Center recently purchased the former American Legion. We will be renovating the building starting with the roof. The goal for the MCACC will be a Safe Gathering Place for the Social, Cultural & Educational Needs of the Community.
