We are happy to announce that The Janus School will host our second Ginger Goudie Memorial 5K Walk & Run on Saturday, October 5, 2025 at our campus in Mount Joy, PA. This event supports continued excellence in education for students with learning differences and also honors Ginger Goudie, a dear friend and Janus teacher, who died in 2022.
Race Start:
10:30am Untimed Kids Fun Run (Half Mile)
9am – Timed 5k
This course is out and back. One traffic lane will be closed for runners, the other will be open for neighborhood traffic. Although every intersection will have volunteers and local authorities, please use caution when approaching intersections. Please do not distract or ask questions to the local authorities, volunteers along the route are happy to cheer you on and point you in the right direction if you need it. The course will be clearly mapped with signs and arrows.
Custom made medals will be awarded to the top male and female in each of the following age groups:
<19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Proceeds fund the Ginger Goudie Financial Aid Fund
