The 39th annual Red Baron is a challenging and fast course starting on the campus of Corning Community College and finishing at the Corning American Legion.
WHEN: Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 12:00 PM.
WHERE: Start at Corning Community College, 1 Academic Drive, Corning, NY 14830
TEAMS: Leg 1 is 6 miles, Leg 2 is 7.1 miles. Exchange point parking is located at Spencer Crest Nature Center. There will be a bus to transport Runner #2 to the exchange point and take Runner #1 to the finish.
EARLY BIB PICKUP: Saturday, October 31, 2020 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Confluence Running, 32 West Market St, Corning, NY 14830. Show your BIB at Confluence to receive an extra 10% off your entire purchase!
RACE DAY REGISTRATION and BIB PICKUP: Sunday, November 1st 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Corning Community College in the Commons Building.
FUND RAISER: Spencer Crest Nature Center. They will be hosting the Team Exchange point in this year’s event.
PARKING: Available at the start* at Corning Community College, 1 Academic Drive, Corning, NY, 14830, in designated school parking lots. Available at designated locations close to the finish at the Corning American Legion 8 River Road, Corning, NY, 14830
BUSES: The 24 person shuttle bus will operate between 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. The bus will pick up at the overflow parking lot for the Corning American Legion located across the street from the Legion. The bus will drop you off at the start line at Corning Community College. Please note, there will NOT be a shuttle running after the race to take you from the Legion back to Corning Community College. The bus will also be available to take Team runners to the exchange point at Spencer Crest Nature Center and then to the Finish Line.
HALF MARATHON AWARDS: Finisher medals to all half marathon finishers. Top 3 overall winners for Male and Female as well as the first three places in each age group category.
AGE GROUP CATEGORIES: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
