Friends of Howland Preserve will be hosting the 3rd edition of an awesome 5 mile trail race at the amazing Howland Preserve! Again, we will be running on 5 miles on the Preserve’s fun, flowy, and challenging, single track, mountain bike trails!
Race presented by the Endless Mountains Racing! A new non-profit organization to promote and put on unique road & trail races in NEPA!
Course Description
The course will be a 5 mile trail race taking part mostly in shaded woods on single track hiking/biking trails. It will begin near the event grounds and progress up a grassy path into the trail system. The trails are mostly smooth with a few minor stonewall crossings as well as some natural drainage dips. The terrain will be relatively hilly by climbing up some 280 feet twice in the race before being rewarded with fast, flowy downhill sections.
