This race is in memory of Damon Young, who passed away from kidney cancer in 2006 at 24 years old. He loved nature and spent countless hours exploring the land where he grew up. He hoped to have a yearly race in his memory to raise money for a scholarship fund that would benefit Tunkhannock High School graduating seniors. We’re so excited to be hosting this race on the land Damon loved so much!
What’s the course like?
Dirt Roads Fields and Trails! The start and finish will still be at the Young Family property in Centermoreland. The goal is to have both the 10k and 5k run/walk enjoy the trails on the Young’s Property.
