DESCRIPTION:Overall Results \nAge Group Results \nRelay Results \nA regional favorite\, this 15th annual sprint triathlon and duathlon is located on the beautiful City Island Park in Harrisburg\, PA’s state capital. Swim is 0.8 miles with the current in the relatively shallow Susquehanna River from the north end to the south end of the island; the bike is a super fast and flat 14.5 mile course north along the river that will put your aero position to the test! The run traverses an old steel bridge and follows the shoreline 3.1 miles out and back along the scenic waterfront. You will just have to come do the race to find out why it is nicknamed the “Catfish.” Race benefits the Harrisburg River Rescue. Hope to see you in July!

DESCRIPTION:Overall Results \nAge Group Results \nThere will be pre-registration the day of the event starting @ 7:30 AM. The first 150 registered participants will receive a goody bag containing a 5K event t-shirt\, coupons/gift certificates to local businesses and other small items (while supplies last). There will also be numerous giveaway drawings after the event. Each participant will be given a 50/50 ticket and that will used for picking the winners of the items being given away. Among the items being given away are handcrafted gold jewelry\, Penn State football tickets\, gym memberships\, gift certificates to local restaurants\, businesses and many other items. \nMedals will be handed out to the Top Three runners and Top walker in each age group. Timing will be done by Falcon Timing. \nAll money raised will be donated to the Reeve Irvine Reeve Irvine Research Center and Research For Cure. The center is named after Christopher Reeve and his family and their goal is to cure paralysis after a spinal cord injury. The money raised via the event will go directly to Spinal Cord Injury Research and human trials. The research has shown dramatic improvements in animal studies thus far. The hope and goal is to fund the ongoing trials on humans. Participants can choose to walk the 1-mile loop with their dog or\, if they are looking for more of a challenge\, they can choose to run or walk the 5K event. The 5K will be a chip timed event provided by Falcon Race Timing. The 1 mile walk is for fun and will not be timed. \nThere will be water stations for walkers/runners and dogs along the course\, food and beverage for registrants\, raffles\, FREE photo booth\, music and much more! \nParticipants who register by 11:59 PM on 6/30/18 will be guaranteed a shirt with their paid registration. Online registration will close July 23\, 2018 at 11:59 pm. We will have registration the morning of the race/walk beginning at 7am. \nThe event will take place RAIN or SHINE! \n100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Unleashed Foundation\, which is a non-profit organization providing education on responsible pet ownership as well as financial assistance for necessary medical care to pets whose owners cannot afford veterinary care when the alternative is often needless suffering\, surrender or euthanasia.
