SUMMARY:Mountain of Hope Trail Challenge – Mill Hall\, PA
DESCRIPTION:Overall Results \nAge Group Results \nThe Mountain of Hope Trail Challenge is back!! This event was started in 2014 and was set up to provide funds for sharing hope ministries an organization that helps out in disaster relief areas. This race is run on private ground and we will be using the same trails as last year. For all you who have never run this race please come prepared for a challenge. The event will be held at the Amish school house located along Beagle Rd. \n  \nThe half marathon starts with about a mile of gradual uphill on a gravel lane. It will then be run on old logging roads and single track trails that are very steep and rocky in some places. After running about 5 miles of uphill you will run across a boulder field and then come to the top of the mountain. You will then run about 3 miles along the top which will give several scenic views of the farmlands of East Nittany Valley before winding back down to the finish line. There will be a water stop at approx. mile 3\, an aid station at mile 5\, another aid station at mile 8\, and one more water stop at mile 11. There is a 5 hour cutoff at the second aid station which still gives you about 8 hours to do the whole course so this makes it very hiker friendly.

DESCRIPTION:Overall Results \nAge Group Results \nThe John Polo 5K\, now in its 23rd year\, is held in memory of the late SUNY Corning Community College professor and coach\, John Polo. Mr. Polo was a member of the SUNY CCC community for more than 28 years\, serving in diverse teaching\, administrative\, and coaching roles over that time. In addition to this race\, he founded the Red Baron Half Marathon\, held each November. An accomplished athlete and coach\, Mr. Polo has been inducted into the SUNY CCC Hall of Fame and the Corning-Painted Post Sports Hall of Fame. \nThe course\, with an agreeable balance of flats and modest elevation changes\, reflects the College’s mission to serve and engage the local community. Runners begin on campus\, making their way out to the main entrance. The route then continues through an adjacent neighborhood\, on lightly traveled and well shaded streets. The course re-enters College grounds for the conclusion.

The event will start at 9 am Sunday May 8\, 2022 at the David Collins Memorial Bridge in Mill Hall\, Pa and will end at the Stephen Toboz Bridge in Lock Haven\, PA. Packet pick up will begin at 7am at the VFW. Top male and female finisher prizes will be available. All finishers will receive dog tags with Dave Collins and Stephen Toboz name. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Clinton County Veterans Park. \nSponsorship: C/T Bridge to Bridge Run\nAny level of contributions are welcome and proceeds will benefit the Clinton County Veterans Park and are tax deductible. DESCRIPTION:Overall Results \nAge Group Results \nGood Shepherd Lutheran Church in Liverpool is hosting the Sheep Shuffle (5k) and a Little Lambs Mile (one mile walk/run on flat ground) for the sixth year. From the previous five years\, depending on weather\, we have averaged 60-70 runners. After the race\, we will have our Spring Fling\, which we will have Ham & Bean soup and Chicken Corn soup both made in kettles onsite on race day\, and a food/bake sale (possibly BBQ chicken made onsite) \nStart and finish located at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The 5k and the one mile races both start at 9am. Registration starts at 7:45am.

DESCRIPTION:Overall Results \nAge Group Results \nBoth races will start at 10:30 am \nThe Chief Wetona Challenge is comprised of one of two distances. You can choose either the 7 mile course or the new shorter 4 mile course. All participants\, family members and spectators are invited to join us post race for a pancake brunch and other delicious treats! \nBoth courses run through the beautiful Mt. Pisgah State Park. Trails are mostly double track and elevation gain is around 900 ft total in the seven miler. The first loop takes you through the woods of the park and the second loop takes you around scenic Stephen Foster Lake. The four mile race will use the first loop.

SUMMARY:Camp K Trail Run – Spruce Creek\, PA
DESCRIPTION:Overall Results \nAge Group Results \nJoin us for a great day on the trails and help support Camp Kanesatake. The trails you will be running or walking on will take you around the beautiful hills and fields of the camp. You will get to experience a little bit of everything that running has to offer. \nDirt trails\, dirt roads\, a very small section of pavement and some technical side hills will have you loving your time on the trails. This is a nice course with plenty of trail to fly through on this beautiful course. \nWe will be offering 2 options this year. We will have a 5k and a 10k course. The 5k course will be the same as last year and the 10k course will be a turn around after the 5k and running the course backwards. We will be having a free kids fun run for kids 8 and under before the race.  Free child care will be available after the fun run so parents can run the 5k or 10k! \nWe will have an aid station with some goodies for everyone and a meal afterwards for everyone to hang out and talk about your run. \nWe will have day of registration again this year but it will be an extra 5 dollars. Registration on the website will close on May 17th so register early to guarantee you get a shirt the day of the race. Hope to see you there!
