DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED FOR 2020 \nThe Step Outdoors TRYathlon\, hosted at Hills Creek State Park\, is an introductory event that is great for the novice while featuring a course that will interest the seasoned athlete. \nAs the name implies\, the focus is on “trying” rather than winning\, on camaraderie rather than competition\, on personal challenge rather than place of finish. Assemble a team of two or three people. Run\, paddle\, and bike your way to the finish! Or\, if you feel energetic\, complete all three legs of the event as a solo participant. The landscape of the park makes this a great spectator event too! \nStarting in 2015 and continuing now\, there are NO AGE CATEGORIES – all participants who finish will be recognized! \nCOURSE DESCRIPTION:\nRunning a mixture of park roads and trails around the perimeter of the lake for 5 kilometers. Paddle around temporary markers in the lake for approximately 1.75 miles. Bike on hard top and dirt roads in and around the park for 8.0 miles. All routes will remain the same as in recent years. The event includes a 5K stand-alone option. Runners will start at the same time and location as the TRYathlon participants and follow the same running course. While the event has always encouraged youth and families to participate\, now even more youth categories will be offered to reward the younger competitors in the 5K Run.

A new non-profit organization to promote and put on unique road & trail races in NEPA! \nCourse Description\nThe course will be a 5 mile trail race taking part mostly in shaded woods on single track hiking/biking trails. It will begin near the event grounds and progress up a grassy path into the trail system. The trails are mostly smooth with a few minor stonewall crossings as well as some natural drainage dips. DESCRIPTION:Overall Results \nAge Group Results \nThe Dam Half is a challenging trail ½ marathon staged in the forests of central Pennsylvania. We hope that both runners and hikers will continue to enjoy the 13-mile course that takes contestants over single & double track trails with some portions of fire roads. The contestants will be subjected to rocks\, mud\, downed trees\, stumps\, roots\, woodland creatures and small stream crossings. Competitors will scale challenging ascents with scenic vistas before the final downhill to the finish line!

RED BARN CHALLENGE LOGO Shirt\, Prizes and CASH Awards for top male and female participants in each time frame AND a whole lot of FUN! \n  \nThis will be a chip timed event. Your laps will be counted for you. This spectacular long-distance loop trail leads through and above the west side of Pine Creek Gorge in the northwest corner of Lycoming County. This very rugged trail charges into and out of the chasm several times\, with many very steep ascents and descents. The trail features many outstanding vistas in all directions\, with views over Morris Run\, Big Dam Hollow\, Young Woman’s Creek\, Baldwin Branch\, Callahan Run\, Naval Run\, Little Slate Run\, and Pine Creek.
