Our course takes you through all the diverse terrain the Forest has to offer. Our date aligns with the peak of local Rhododendron blooming season. You will run through deep spring fed groves while they show off their vibrant pink flowers. Our start/finish is located at the Sigel Volunteer Fire Co. They have provided our traffic control and EMS for numerous events. The short loop allows you to dip your toe in a longer sub-marathon distance while our long loop lets you push some of your limits. \n  \nRegistration opens at 5am.  34 mile race starts at 6am and the 21 mile starts at 7am.

SUMMARY:Strides For SCI Research 5k / 10k – Montoursville\, PA
DESCRIPTION:THIS RACE IS CANCELLED FOR 2020 \nThere will be pre-registration the day of the event starting @ 7:30 AM.  Medals will be handed out to the Top Three runners and Top walker in each age group. Timing will be done by Falcon Timing. \n  \nAll money raised will be donated to the Reeve Irvine Research Center and Research For Cure. The center is named after Christopher Reeve and his family and their goal is to cure paralysis after a spinal cord injury. The money raised via the event will go directly to Spinal Cord Injury Research and human trials. The research has shown dramatic improvements in animal studies thus far. The hope and goal is to fund the ongoing trials on humans. It’s 3 miles of uphill to the top of McCloskey moutain\, and then a blistering 3.7 miles down to the finish. It’s truly one of the most challenging 10K’s around. \nWhere: The WCSA in Hyner\, PA. SUMMARY:Mt. Davis Challenge – Confluence\, PA
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED FOR 2020 \nThe Mt. Davis Challenge Road Race is a 40/56 mile race that traverses the highest point in Pennsylvania. The course is lollipop style that starts in Confluence\, PA and utilizes the hilly back roads of the Mt. Davis area and climbs to an elevation of 3\,213ft. Once over the top it descends on the eastern side and climbs back up on Savage Road before returning to Confluence. \nProlonged climbs\, fast descents and some rough road surfaces make this a true challenge. Men’s Cat 1/2/3 will do 2 laps of the upper loop. DESCRIPTION:THIS RACE IS CANCELLED FOR 2020 \nThe Allegheny Front Trail was established by Ralph Seeley in 1991. The trail encircles Black Moshannon State Park\, traversing 41.75 miles of the Allegheny Plateau\, some rocky and rugged\, on the way to five mountain trout streams and 11 vistas in the Moshannon State Forest. \nAFTR takes places just a few minutes drive from Black Moshannon State Park. Event options include the 50K Seneca Run (7 a.m. start)\, Half Marathon Hemlock Run (9 a.m. start). Race headquarters is at the Mid-State Regional Airport\, Terminal Building\, just 3 miles from Black Moshannon State Park\, approximately 9 miles east of Philipsburg (451 Airport Road\, Philipsburg\, PA 16866). \nThe Seneca 50K Run is a course on the AFT. Note that it is approximately 32.5 miles long. The Seneca Run is 100% trail. \nThe Hemlock Half Marathon run is a 14-mile\, 98% trail\, 93% single-track course.
